Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher, Meditation Facilitator & Sound Bath Practitioner

It is essential to my teaching and facilitation to honor the South Asian lineage of yoga and to name the ongoing appropriation that continues within modern wellness spaces. My work is rooted in cultural respect, ethical practice, and care that prioritizes accessibility, consent, and safety over performance. I approach this work with humility and responsibility, creating environments where participants are invited to listen to their bodies rather than override them.

My offerings center choice, consent, and empowerment, with options that honor each person’s lived experience, capacity, and nervous system. I am especially drawn to Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Nidra, where stillness, breath, and gentle postures create the conditions for deep release, regulation, and rest. In these practices, healing unfolds not through effort, but through presence.

Alongside yoga, I offer sound bath experiences that support nervous system regulation and embodied restoration. Using crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and voice, sound is used as a therapeutic medium—inviting participants to rest while vibration moves through the body. These sessions often support mental quieting, tension release, and a sense of grounding and spaciousness. Many people experience sound baths as a meditative journey where the body feels held, the mind softens, and connection to self deepens.

I also offer guided mediation sessions as an optional, experiential modality for reflection, insight, and integration. This work is approached with care and discernment, grounded in deep relaxation and guided imagery.

My offering extends an invitation to join me in search for a practice of equanimity, where it can feel safer to trust your intuition through shared rituals. I share cultural teachings I have learned along the way, and I also welcome the cultural wisdom you have been using or are curious about exploring.

  • Restorative and Yin Yoga is not traditional sun salutations or a vinyasa flow. Restorative and Yin Yoga invites the opportunity to connect to our our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians. This allows a lot of space for rest and mindfulness of our growth edges.

  • Sound Healing with Cyn Magaña

    Transformative Healing Through Vibrational Sound

  • I also offer Past Life Healing Meditation as an optional, experiential modality for reflection, insight, and integration. This work is approached with care and discernment, grounded in deep relaxation and guided imagery. Rather than positioning past life material as literal or prescriptive, these sessions invite symbolic exploration—supporting clients in accessing themes, narratives, or emotional patterns that may inform present-day healing, identity, or life transitions.

    Past Life Regression is offered within a consent-based, trauma-informed container, and is best understood as a meaning-making process—one that can illuminate inner landscapes, offer perspective, and support integration alongside therapy and other embodied practices.

    This is not a replacement for therapy.

  • Tarot/Oracle is a tool to practice intuitive wisdom and themed foresight of the cycle of ones life.

  • Breathwork is the conscious awareness of intentional rhythmic breathing that moves us out of fight or flight and into the parasympathetic nervous system. Breathwork allows us to consciously shift emotional and mental states.

    I do not offer in person sessions at this time.

    Please consult with a medical provider if you have a health condition prior to starting breathwork.

  • Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice. A reiki practitioner may touch you lightly or have their hands just above your body. You may experience sensations in the body such as heat or tingling. Some people report seeing visualizations such as colors or pictures, or having memories appear. In the age of virtual work, I provide gentle guidance towards Self-Reiki techniques. I am a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner as of February 2020 under the Usui tradition .

    I do not offer in person sessions at this time.
